The Aero Club Centrale di Volo a Vela Muzi – Orsi is a nonprofit amateur sportive association that provides highly qualified training to gliding pilots.
It’s located in Rieti, one of the soaring world paradises, where you can fly from March to October with prevailing conditions of thermal energy and in winter by exploiting the dynamic energy of the strong winds from the northeast that enable high altitude flights.
Already home of the World Championships in 1985, 2007 and 2008.
The structures and organization allow our members the enjoyment of many operational services: to use the very performant gliders of our fleet, the accommodations within the airfield, the hangar for aircrafts, the aerotowing, the ballast loading and also data access through Internet.
It was renewed in 2009 and is constantly being improved to match pilots’ technical needs.
